Advanced Analytics Product Specialist (multiple openings) [JOB#FL1]

Fuzzy Logix enables its clients to embed in-database analytics directly into their business processes, data warehouses, enterprise applications, devices and web services, maximizing processing efficiencies, and dramatically reducing the cycle time for analytics. Currently, the employer seeks to hire an Advanced Analytics Product Specialist who will perform the job duties listed below:

1. Build production systems and, be involved in and monitor, all aspects of a product lifecycle – including long- and short-term development and marketing. This includes designing and developing systems, software and products that enable the analysis of large volumes of data. This type of software, known as Advanced Analytics Suite for High-Performance Computing on Big Data, is in high demand today because various enterprises want to use it to analyze large volumes of data collected from customer interactions, financial transactions, manufacturing systems, etc.

2. Evaluate and resolve technical feasibility, design optimization, and production issues.

3. Collect and act upon client feedback on product.

4. Interface with members of the management team and clients to determine the product’s future direction.

5. Serve as Subject Matter Expert for analytic tools.

6. Investigate and recommend new advanced analytic technologies, and inform and advise clients about them.

7. Conduct performance tuning on data analytic packages.

8. Utilize database knowledge, programming skills and data manipulation/query tools to produce actionable analytic reports and ad hoc analysis to meet client needs.

9. Ensure that product specifications are accurately stated on all marketing and distribution material.

10. Monitor the work of others, and provide training. This involves no managerial responsibility for making hiring, firing, salary or disciplinary decisions.

11. Perform additional duties that are normally associated with this position, as assigned.

Minimum requirements:

Master’s degree in a major related to Mathematics, Statistics or Finance, that provided the required knowledge and abilities, plus 1 year of experience in related occupations that provided the required skill and abilities.

Marketing Technology Support Specialist

This role requires knowledge of enabling technologies used by marketing, basic database administration experience as well as familiarity with a variety of application programming techniques.  The ideal candidate will be well versed in multiple technologies, capable of learning  new technologies quickly and of performing a variety of marketing support tasks including:  identifying data related to customer acquisition and data sources for product and solution demonstrations, managing the technical aspects of information used for marketing campaigns,  updating and maintaining our SugarCRM databases, creating connectors to external applications using APIs, building client facing demonstrations with our software solutions using tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, Excel, .Net.  The candidate must also be well versed in building marketing analytics reports.  This role will provide exposure to a wide variety of cutting edge technologies.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher, 3 years minimum of technology support or programing activities (or 6 years plus experience in software technology support, programming, & DBA  roles), experience with analytics or business intelligence, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to build compelling and graphically rich demonstrations, proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects, ability to interpret market needs based on research reports and experience, and ability to deliver product/solution demonstrations.  Industry experience in Healthcare, Retail, Marketing and Financial Services is desirable.

Market Research Analyst

As a market research analyst at Fuzzy Logix, you will gain in-depth knowledge of the use of analytics by companies in healthcare, financial services, retail, marketing and other industries.  Our research analysts work to understand business problems and opportunities that can be resolved by leveraging analytics.  You will be required to analyze information from multiple sources and quickly deliver valuable and deep content to our internal teams as well as customers and prospects.  You will work closely with marketing, sales and engineering at Fuzzy Logix as well as with third parties.  The expected amount of production is four long and 12-15 shorter research documents per year as well as time spent presenting the findings to senior executives, business partners, customers and analyst.Required: voracious learner, critical thinker, conversant with software technologies,   highly organized, excellent written, verbal and presentation skills that allow you to not only produce the required content, but to do so in a way that is understandable and compelling and experience with analytics, math or statistics.

Sales

Inside Sales – Lead Generation Representative

Compensation: Base plus Bonus (tied to qualified lead output)

As a Lead Generation Representative you will be nurturing and qualifying opportunities by identifying key decision-makers, identifying business drivers, and working collaboratively with direct field sales managers on pipeline building activity. The ideal candidate will possess high energy, an aggressive sales attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced inside sales environment.

The person in this role will need to have (or gain) a solid understanding of the analytics market and Fuzzy Logix’s product offerings, drive qualified pipeline activity by following up on inbound marketing-generated leads and inquiries, conduct and manage lead handling process from initial contact through to final qualification, Articulate our product’s technical and business solutions to senior decision makers and collaborate with field sales on identifying qualified opportunities.  Required: Bachelor’s degree or higher, 3 years minimum inside sales or business development experience, experience with analytics or business intelligence, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to solution sell, demonstrated ability to develop strategic account plans for large, complex accounts, ability to navigate corporate structures to identify decision makers and determine buying process, deliver product demos  using web tools to existing and new customers, Industry experience in Healthcare, Retail, Marketing and Financial Services is desirable.

Quantitative Research

Senior Research Analysts to perform cutting edge quantitative research using artificial intelligence and pattern recognition techniques. The fact that the outcome of such research is instantly applied by our clients in their businesses should be quite gratifying to inquisitive minds.

Ideal candidates can integrate quantitative methods with computational expertise and business fundamentals and present valuable solutions to our clients. 1. Research and develop analytics for various products in company’s portfolio.
2. Implement advanced analytics for business partners.
3. Devise solutions for potential clients using technologies, such as in-database analysis, parallel programming, GPU acceleration etc., and actively contribute to the development of intellectual capital.
4. Deliver analytical solutions to existing clients using technologies, such as in-database analysis, parallel programming, Hadoop MapReduce etc.
5. Develop existing accounts for additional opportunities.
6. Work with members of the management team on important project initiatives with existing or potential clients.
7. Develop in-database analysis and application of products.
8. Build and implement models in database level.
9. Build models/algorithms using hi-performance computational algorithms, code optimization techniques, modeling methodology, and analytic methods (including regressions, simulations, MLE/MDE estimation, semi-parametric models, time series, and discrete wavelet transformation).

Mid-Level Application developers with 3-5 years experience in designing and developing application user interface mock-ups and web applications with minimal technology direction. Position requires working experience in VB.NET, C#.NET, ASP.NET and SQL Server or Oracle. Ideal candidate will be well versed with understanding of Object Oriented Analysis and Design concepts and RDBMS. Prior experience in designing and developing highly-interactive applications and AJAX would be a plus.

Entry level Application developers with 0-3 years experience in web application development using VB.NET, C#.NET, ASP.NET, Any RDBMS. Candidate should be comfortable working under tight dead-lines. Position involves development and testing of web applications to the given specifications. Experience developing applications in Excel would be a plus.
